What a challenge!

I have worked and worked to be certain that I can access my blog and that others can access it! I hope that I have finally got everything to work so that I begin completing the requirements for this course! I look forward to any comments so that I may start dealing with the important issues in the class.

Comments:
You did it. With perseverance and a little trial in error you posted this blog. That is the way it happens for me sometimes. I am excited to begin discussion and reading discussions about our new literacies journies.

As I told Katherine I can feel for you both as I really need to get up to speed technologically speaking so that I can keep up with my students. I find all this log in stuff crazy-too much to remember with school, home and CCSU. I don't know if I like this way of passing information. Too much out in the open-but then again I thought who would want to read this stuff anyway? I will reserve my judgment for the end of the course.

Hi,
You are on. Don't ask me why you don't have the www part in your address- all I know is that the address posted on my website works for you.
So now we have to get you team to be up and running!

Finally, I figured out how to log on. It turns out that I forgot my username not my password. If this happens to you, the website can send you an e-mail with the inoformation you need to log on.
So now we are off and running with our assignment. I have not yet searched the websites but I did view several blog sites suggested by the authors. It seems that students were very enthusiastic about the assignment but I just can't seem to get beyond the style of writing that blogging yields. It reminds me of the type of notes we used to pass one another in high school, unedited, unprocessed, and often unintelligent sounding. Perhaps, I will change my mind as we move through the semester. I will be in touch once I view some sites. I will take your suggestions first.

Hi,
Can you tell your group about the ways in which you integrate technology in your classroom. Where you are and where you want to go?
Just thought I would get the conversation rolling:)

Hi! You should be glad you did not go to the speaker last week! It was nothing more than a sales pitch for books her company was selling. I can't believe we had to pay for it! Unbelievable! I don't know one person at our table who wasn't mad about the whole situation!

Hi Ruth,

It is lonely here without you. I am so proud of you for getting your website up and running. I found having access to Dr. K's website from home or school to be so helpful. If you feel really wild and crazy, you could have your students leave you messages on your blog page about whatever topic you are studying. That could be really interesting. I hope that you feel a sense of success with your new technology knowledge. We have learned a lot in just one semester. See you soon, Katherine
